




The 2nd in-person meeting and training mobility within the framework of the European Erasmus+ project “RISE” was successfully completed. The meeting took place in Iași, Romania, from May 18th to May 21st, 2026, with the participation of teachers and partners from the collaborating schools: EEEEK Livadeia (Greece), Colegiul Tehnic “Ion Holban” Iași (Romania), and Saaremaa Toetava Hariduse Keskus (Estonia).
The agenda of the five-day visit included a rich blend of educational activities, exchange of good practices, and cultural experiences, focusing on special education and structured teaching:
- Day 1: Presentation of Colegiul Tehnic “Ion Holban” Iași: The proceedings kicked off with an official welcome ceremony hosted by the school, followed by a presentation of its facilities and staff.
- Day 2: Job shadowing & Classroom observations: Participants had the opportunity to conduct classroom observations. Furthermore, a visit was paid to the “Constantin Păunescu” Special School, where teachers exchanged views on implementing the TEACCH method in the classroom.
- Day 3: Cultural program: The partner delegations also had the opportunity to explore the wider region through a cultural tour of downtown Iași, as well as a visit to the famous Cricova winery.
- Day 4: Project partnership & Management: Within the framework of the working sessions, the official TPM (Transnational Project Meeting) was held to evaluate the results achieved so far and plan the next steps of the project.
The meeting concluded with a discussion on the conclusions, reaffirming the vital importance of international cooperation in developing a more inclusive education.
