1rst In-person meeting and training mobility of the Erasmus+ Project “RISE”

The first in-person meeting with the partners of the project titled “Training of students with autism in social and independent living skills with the TEACCH method” and acronym “RISE” (Resources for Independence and Social Engagement) was held at EEEEK Livadeia from March 16th to 19th, 2026. The project is implemented within the framework of Erasmus+ (KA210-SCH).

The agenda of the first in-person meeting included:

  • Day 1: Welcome – ice-breaking activities. Presentation of the school. Training session: Basic principles of structured teaching and appropriate arrangement of the physical environment.
  • Day 2: Training session: Creating visual daily schedules and work schedules, and developing structured activities. Observation of demonstration lessons in the classroom and a presentation of structured training of students in social skills. A performance by the students featuring songs and dances.
  • Day 3: Observation of structured lessons in the independent living classroom and the pastry workshop. Presentation of structured teaching in independent living skills, examination of case studies, and maintenance of students’ portfolios. A cultural visit to the Archaeological Museum of Chaeronea.
  • Day 4: Discussion regarding the pilot implementation in schools and adaptation of the implemented activities to different educational systems. Technical meeting, organization of the next meeting, and evaluation of the current meeting. A visit to the LAB facilities of the Directorate of Secondary Education (DDE) of Boeotia. Cultural visit to Arachova and Delphi.
